Forgot about this thread. Another chance to show the Remington R4548 Electrician's Knife I picked up last week. c. 1924-33.

Here is a Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware Co fish jack made in Germany by(?).Horn scales;fluted bolsters;unusually shaped shield,and half stops on both blades.A gift from my sister-in-law who told me it belonged to her grandfather.An unusual pattern that you don't see very often.

That's one of the ones I wouldn't be able to put down for very long. You're sister in law did you well. I've got some pretty cool in laws as well that have gifted me a couple old family knives. Some real treasures. Congratulations on that one.
