Napanoch jack knife "opinions wanted" gator club pickup"

I picked this Jack knife up at the Gator Show in Lakeland, Fl. It is a great quality knife. I want opinions as to its authenticity, period made, and just what I have here.

Tom: It looks to be a great old knife by a great company.However;and I am no expert when it comes to these,but I have been led to understand that there are(or were)a lot of supposedly old Napanoch knives that were showing up awhile back that were either put together from pieces or downright fake.I hope yours is a good one and I will let people with more knowledge than me reply.Whatever the case it is a fine looking knife.!

Thanks, KN, I too have read and heard those storys also. I just took a chance on this one because of the quality and I liked the knife. The guy I got it from sure thought it was the real deal. I am looking forward to others who know a lot more than me commenting on the knife as well.
