Twin No Dot, 3 Pin 112 Rangers... Spa Worthy?

I recently bought these. They're far from pristine but, I see great potential!

The price was right, too... I can spend for the spa treatment and still be ahead (if that even matters!). How did I do?

Edited: I had thought there was a difference in brass pin size from one knife to the other... Upon re-examination, I'm not so sure the pins aren't the same size.

I agree with Dogg, very nice knife and you have two! One is definitely a candidate for the spa treatment - and Buck knows what they are doing based on what I have seen of their reconditioning work. OH

No, Garddogg. No sheaths came with the 112s.
My first two 112s, (micarta-handled, brass mainspring & 4-pin ebony, two dot) came with sheaths and I noticed the narrow-bodied 112s belong in the early-type sheath.
I don't expect to find those any time soon.
-But, if anyone out there knows of one, let's make a deal!

I've been cleaning these two latest additions; I like that the honey-colored shedua example displays the snap imprint, caused by securing the sheath flap.

I actually carried both knives to work, today. (!)

Hi, Their nice it's looks like you picked up a version or category2, 2 and 3 a segua and ebony. if they have a good blade it's worth having them cleaned up in my opinion. George God bless

You have what must be the quintessential collection of 112s. Thank you for posting the pictures.
I've come across many of the versions, but to have them as you do in their original state, is no mean feat. I doubt many of us could amass a collection in such fine condition.

I finally got around to sending 1 of the 2 two-pin, no dot 112s (segua, bottom of pic) to Buck. I sent it's big brother along for "the treatment," too: the Macassar ebony 2 dot 110 (shown at the top).

Btw Old Hunter, your 112 looks to be in very fine original shape! Nice!
