Hello All!

Post by SFC ADP »

Well I am new to the site, and look forward to sharing many thoughts and opinions with others on Knife collecting.

I have been collecting knives since the age of 6 or 8? it started very young, and now I am 33 yrs old. So I have accumulated alot of knives.
At first as a youngster it was quantity not quality. So now I am working on getting rid of the old park and swap pakistan/China junk knives I picked up.

My first Pocket Knife given to me was an old Boy Scout knife (which I still have) made by Imperial. Still keeps a Razor edge, and I am still happy to carry this knife. Now a few hundred knives later I have quite a collection, which I am happy to have. Alot of the knives I own may not be mint, but hold a sentimental value, from the people who gave them to me. It's amazing when your young and people find out you collect knives at an early age, how freely they dig out the old knives and give them to you as gifts. I still have all these knives to this day.

Anyways, now I look for alot of limited edition sets, and watch E-bay on a regular basis for a small gem here and there.

If I could recruit the wisdom of some fellow collectors here, I would like to start doing some research on knives I can find nothing on. I have a couple price guides I use, but you can only put so much info in them.

I look forward to chatting with you all!
