Nothing historical or rare here but I was able to add a Imperial fishtail to my Grandsons collection and a Kaber peanut for Dumpy.

Had to take a day off today as my kid is sick with the flu and he has a doctors appointment this morning. So I decided to browse the estate sale ads and see what, if anything was local. Found an estate sale in Bonney Lake with three pictures of a table full of pocket knives. http://www.estatesales.net/estate-sales ... 391/554694

I was 15th in line and boy what a disappointment. Nothing but Imperial, Colonial and Pakistani junk (when I say junk, I mean rusted, broken and scales that are chipped or non-existent). There was a few Schrade pieces and an Ulster BSA utility knife from the 70's but they were WAAAAAY overpriced.

I did make only one good find and I think they misprinted the price based on what everything else was listed at. I found a Camillus #21 for $6.00
I snagged it quick since it was the only good deal there.

Hello, all!
This past week I gave $5 for a 70s-era, 9 dot Case, model 9233.
It looks to have the original factory edge. However, it's been sitting un-oiled a long time and shows staining to the finish. It has (very) strong snap in both blades, with no wobble, whatsoever.
I'm happy with my find -& the price!

Today I am carrying a #21 with Rogers' bone handles that Gino gave me a while back.
I love the small size and super sharp blades, plus the half sabre ground blade!


I got a new one in the mail yesterday, Kershaw #4131 Wild Turkey liner lock.
I love the ATS-34 steel blade!

Went to the Washington Sportsman show today in Puyallup and found nothing but disappointment. Decided to cheer myself up on the way home and stopped in an antique consignment store. Found this Schrade-Walden 225H in a back cabinet listed for $15. I asked if they would take $10 for it. They called the owner of the booth and he said yes. I will do some clean up on it this week and see how she turns out.

Got a double blessing at church today ! 1st and foremost was the message from the pastor, but as I was being greeted by a man that always has piece hard candy to give away, I reached for my candy and I got a surprise. 2 cinnamon candies and an old Imperial! The old knife is kinda ragged, a piece of the mark side scale is missing, the blades are almost full but the edges will have to be redone. This is my 1st Imperial that is not a shell handled knife. All 3 blades have great snap. It has steel bolsters, brass liners, looks like it would have been a great one, once upon a time.

Hello gentlemen I wanted to share with you some knives that I picked up this week. I am so excited, I have a growing collection of automatic's and when I find them its a kick. Especially such good examples of "Card" knives still in working order and good shape. Since they were usually sold for less than $2 each in candy stores, etc. It is rather hard to find them in good shape as they were not made with the highest standards in mind. Thanks for looking. One is a Hammer Brand the grey/silver one and the beige one is an Edgemaster.

I also got this Bertram Lever Knife. The hooks are Shot Pullers for 12/16 gauge shotgun shells. The blade as you see has some wear but it fires like a bear, and I like the scales, such nice wear. Thanks for letting me share. I have to learn how to post two pictures in one posting.

Nick, I understand your thrill in finding autos in great working order. A few years ago when looking for all those Hammers and Imperials I now have on cards, it was always fun to find, clean them and install them on their cards. Don't get much funner than that!

Thanks Josh.....at 3 3/4" closed it will be a very useable size.
Perry, looks like the lanyard tube is larger on this #47 than on some of their recent offerings....hope so anyway. Will post the ID size when the knife arrives.
