Colonial Old Cutler re-handle

This is probly the only knife that Colonial farmed out. It was made by Camillus for Colonial.
The trapper is 4" long and had a cheap looking yellow handle scale that was attached by only
the center pin!

I used Culpeppers Amber Amberdeen jigged bone (again). I really like this stuff. ::nod::
It still needs some buffing to call it finnished - I'll get that done tonight...

That looks awesome Joe!

I like your technique for cutting out the shield area. I usually just pencil in or scribe around the shield and then dig in. I'm going to try the tape next time.

That was the only way I could find to do the shield, rex. The bone alone was too dark to use a marker on it.
