Hummmm...... ::shrug::
It sure doesn't look like my 164.

Check out the pics on Larry's site:
162UH: http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/ ... /162UH.htm

164UH: http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/ ... /164UH.htm

I think you are right Randy, the experts made a mistake. I guess that is easy to do, with all the stuff they got from the Schrade factory and the "new Schrade" stuff from China. It must be hard to keep them straight.

I don't have the Chinese stuff to worry about & I still have to refer to my list on some of the more unusual patterns like this one.
The 162UH, Wolverine, was listed in the catalogs from 1982-1984.
The 152UH, Wolverine (the Uncle Henry version of the 152OT Sharpfinger) was a recycle of the name "Wolverine" and is in the catalogs from 1994-1998.
The 164UH, Badger is in the catalogs from 1982-1988.

None of these enjoyed the longevity of some of the more enduring patterns like the 152 Sharpfinger. It is hard to keep some of them straight, for me at least. That is why I made the lists & posted them here at AAPK...........so that I could keep track of them. I find it embarrassing when I call a knife by the wrong name. :oops:
