Old Wrench/Tool Knives

Ray,
How do you like the SOG Paratool I see in the 2nd pic?
I was pretty impressed with it.
It is one of the better designs I have seen, better IMHO than my first Leatherman, it doesn't cut into the hand.

I had one and sent it to my daughter for her birthday. She is a mechanic in the National Guard and needed a better multi-tool than the cheapie she had last time I saw her in uniform.
I also sent her a Buck Odyssey aqs has said she had wore out her old knife.

It is definitely a quality piece Dale.I like the plastic sheath it comes in and is relatively easy to deploy.I must confess that I rarely carry a tool like that(and I have a bunch of them)as I find a pocket knife suitable for most tasks.I have a problem putting any kind of weight on my hip and in my work I get into some strange positions(working down low on the side of a car or the like).I do have a Leatherman Wave that I keep in my paint box for any work I may need to do that is beyond my knife's capabilities.
Most multi-tools I've found are a compromise at best;they seem to try to do too much and not very well. As pliers they are usually uncomfortable to use and as knives,screwdrivers,or files they are marginal.The concept was great;the execution of the concept questionable.Just my feelings on the subject.

this one has me a lil STUMPED

its tang stamp is: STELLER CO.

(the other 2 are) STELLAR CO. & STELLAR (no CO.)
(all stamped "COMPANY NAME" above JAPAN)
either way...i like em' adds to the knife a lil for me

These are pretty cool! If I have ever seen one of this type of tool I didn't recognize it for what it was.

I don't make it to flea markets much anymore so I might never see one.

This isn't a wrench knife but it is a tool knife.Canton Cutlery stamped, 3 backspring.Tool blade, spear blade, and punch.
