That one is a real beauty there Jerry. Congrats and enjoy it. You sure that stag won't crack in that cold Chicago winter? :D Just kidding of course.

I appreciate the info Barry.

I know you're kidding Dave but that really does concern me a little. Going from warm to cold and back again, maybe several times during shipping, especially with all this below zero crap could cause the stag to crack. Let's hope it doesn't.

Thanks for all the compliments on the knife. If it looks as good in person as it does in Derrick's pictures, that bad boy is a pure knock out.

Jerry, to me the knife looks almost as elegant as a Laguiole knife

Gus, for me, the Laguiole does have a certain je ne sais quoi. Were my knife buying budget less limited, I would certainly own more than just two.

Nice Bluegill Mike. Or is that a Crappie? If you lived down south, you could call it a Bream.

Just got this GEC #23 Big Jack in. The #23 is awesome and I really like the size of the secondary on this model. She's got some FAT Stag on her.....great snap, and it's nice how the front of the back springs are finished even with the bolster.

That's really nice Trevor. The stag is well matched and the same thickness on both the mark side and the pile side. I've been noticing it's difficult to get the tang ends on blades with half stops to come out even Steven in all three positions. Lotta craftsmanship went into that one. Better hang on to it. Could be a while before you get another one as good.
