I have been remise for not getting back to this thread as I have been pretty busy lately. Thanks for the comments Charlie, and singin46 I too like the shield.
knife7knut that challenge is a beauty! And danno50, that is some collection, I really like all of them especially their handles, but I think that the point on that Pal is sweet.

I'm new to collecting and late to this party, but here go's
I just looked at all 19 pages in one sitting, maybe not a good idea
wonderful knives everyone, this is my favorite pattern for right now

Naah, it was jigged and has been carried a lot.

Hey DRS, this is a very rare knife indeed. There were not many made (40 or so) and they sold out real fast! Hold on to it, could bring some serious money in the next 10 years. I just sold my King Cotton in Abalone for $150.00.

Technically yes. Even though the notch was not necessary since the blade is so large. I own one too from that same time period made by Northwoods of Gladstone, MI. 1 of 7 made. Tortoise (really acrylic) in black and red. The other is a Case XX Hawkbill kale rehandled for me some years ago in green mammoth ivory with red liners and filework.

Here's a few others I found while rummaging round tonight. These are from left to right, UTICA in celluloid, Imperial and IKCO. And I finally snagged a Remington R219.

^ Great score singin, that looks like a handful. It looks like it was well worth the wait.

DRS, that is a really beautiful knife. I am impressed with the overall finish of it. The stag has very complex and interesting colors and the etching looks superb. I infrequently buy contemporary knives, but if I had seen that when they came out I would have been chomping at the bit to get one.
