Custom slide blade marked "EL" with ivory Micarta scales and double buttons.
Kershaw boot dagger made in Germany.
Custom Case boot dagger honoring the USMC. There were supposed to be knives honoring all branches of the service but apparently the company couldn't get enough subscribers and went belly up. Supposed to be 750 made. I bought two of them about 30 years ago for $20 apiece and gave one to my brother who was a Marine.Handles were cast by Shaw-Leibowitz and silver plated.

That Kershaw is from the early to mid 1980s and is a real beauty!
I should have bought one when we had them in the cutlery store, (one of many I should have bought)!

Thank you sir;I'm glad you enjoyed it. When I wa really active on e-Bay(prior to them ordering PayPal only)I found some great knives mistakenly listed as letter openers and still do.The Case V-42 dagger I bought a couple months ago was listed as a letter opener along with two other knives.I wound up paying less than $55 including shipping for all three knives.
When I first started trolling e-Bay I had a self imposed rule that I wouldn't bid over $20 for any knife no matter what. I came upon a listing with a very fuzzy picture and little description of a letter opener that turned out to be an 1850's era Abraham Davey bowie and a guy outbid me and got it for $25! Needless to say I did a bit of a revaluation of my bidding techniques after that one. The winner of the knife sent me pictures of it sometime later and it was magnificent.Probably worth a couple thousand at the very least.
The assassins dagger I posted was also listed as a letter opener and I would love to know it's history.I think I paid $10 for that one.
