Re: Fake Remington Bullet
The seller stated in the description at the bottom of his post that he thinks it's a "re-issue of a popular older knife". I don't think he is trying to deceive anyone. Didn't know if you saw that. Best regards and Merry Christmas to you and your family. smokeon

Re: Fake Remington Bullet
It doesn't even look like a reissue to me. It looks like a genuine counterfeit. The reissues are better made than this. The handles look like jigged bone, not stag.

Re: Fake Remington Bullet
It is an outright counterfeit, not a re-issue or reproduction. I realize the seller isn't tying to pass it off as a genuine Remington Bullet, I just posted it here because some of those are sold to unknowing buyers.

VINTAGE REMINGTON "BULLET KNIFE" STAG SCALED MULTI-BLADE R-4466 POCKET KNIFE
Watch
This is the sellers Headline description.
It is very misleading if not an outright lie.
Someone will pay too much money for this fake knife.

Re: Fake Remington Bullet
I sent the seller a message through EBay and this is his response.
Dear lsmi1229,
HELLO, IF IT IS COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU KNOW THIS? I BOUGHT IT AT A FLEA MARKET FROM A GUY I KNOW AND HE TOLD ME SOMETHING LIKE HE WASN'T SURE ABOUT IT AND THOUGHT SOMEONE MAY HAVE BUILT IT FROM PARTS. I WILL END IT IF IS GOING TO CAUSE PROBLEMS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I APPRECIATE YOUR ATTENTION. THANKS, CARL

Re: Fake Remington Bullet
I'd suggest you send Carl a link to this thread and see if he's on the up and up.

Re: Fake Remington Bullet
I did.
It may help if more people on here would confirm what a horrible fake this knife is.

I guess he is confused by the ambiguous statements in this thread or he doesn't care if he takes advantage of someone and sells a fake knife.
