New Member Checking In
Hello Everyone,
I stumbled upon this forum during a search for GEC knives, did some reading, and registered today. I look forward to doing a lot of reading, and occasionally adding my two cents, although I will admit to being something of a newbie with the traditional knives. Here's a brief synopsis of my knife journey:
Always enjoyed knives, and carried a few over the years. I don't know if it is bad etiquette to mention other forums by name here, so I wont for now. I was (and am still) active on another knife forum that has a sizeable traditional sub forum, where I have learned quite a bit. I used to be a tactical knife guy and was active in yet another forum where members were mostly interested in Emersons and the like. Those knives are fine, but truth be told, I was not very impressed with the people, but enough on that.
I am happily married and make my living through traditional martial arts, which I still teach and train after 30 years. Well, that's all for now, and looking forward to the community.
Gary

Welcome to AAPK Gary. Glad to have you aboard. Please feel free to mention whatever you like (just keep it clean
). You will find that AAPK is not anal about the mention of other forums or sliding off topic now and then. Flame wars are very rare here, mostly because we treat each other with respect. Not to say there are never harsh words, just that it so seldom happens I don't recall the last time (of course I'm old and forgetful). We're not perfect but we're workin' on it.

Welcome to AAPK Gary.
Martial Arts huh ? Would you consider a part time gig as bouncer in the chat room when Bryan gets it back up and running ? Got some rowdy characters. LOL
