gotta love them yard sales

Post by johnnierotten »

My parents go out every Saturday morning to yard sales. They know to pick me up any knives they find and I'll reimburse them..I was at my friends "Gulfvet33" Birthday party this past Saturday when I get a phone call from my Dad telling me that he had found a tactical Buck knife for $2..I was thinking for $2 it was probably one of those newer ones that are made in China.Well,to my surprise it was a USA made Buck Odyssey!! ::tu::

Thought I would share a pic of my $2 knife.

This made me think of a time when my WIFEY had a sale..

She took some of my tools and added them to her yard sale...

I came home just in time to stop a man wanting to buy my radar detector
for $10.00...I did not leave it in my car over night. She thought that I did not use it .. :x She sold way to much of my stuff that day. Let things go for next to a few bucks. She was happy she made money and took a girl friend out to the movies that night.

From that day on if any yard sales I stay home... ::tear::

Yes your Dad did well that day... 8) You should reword him with an ICECREAM cone...
