This knife has a Ka bar blade .It has the Pakistan chook on the shield and is selling as a Schrade 895.

The frame is from a Camillus 72. The master blade has been replaced. You can tell it's a replacement by the pin sticking out on the bolster. As for the shield, that design could have been engraved by whoever replaced the master blade.

Yeah, what Dave said. In addition to the pin the blade profile is all wrong. That blade is fat and looks like it came out of a barlow or a stockman.dcgm4 wrote:The frame is from a Camillus 72. That auction has been closed and the knife relisted because of errors. He's relisted it as a Ka-Bar. Compare it to a genuine Ka-Bar tang stamp shown at the bottom and form your own opinion.

"Up for auction a vintage Ka-Bar pocket knife, made in the USA. 3 1/2" closed, handles are black derlin with no cracks or chips. Blades look unsharpened, two have strong snap, largest has weak snap but pushes closed nicely. Shield has engraved eagle on it. Condition is very good."
This whole area is really odd. I don't know what it is but I do know it's not something I want to spend money on. (In addition he says in so many words, the main blade has zero snap)

I notice there is no good shot of where the master blade lays in the pocket when closed. 
From the shape of the blade I think it is shorter than it was in the original knife; whether it is too short for this frame or not I can't see from the pics provided.

Offhand, I'd say you're right Dale and that wrong blade is the reason the main blade doesn't have any snap. This one should be sold in with a pile of parts knives (if at all).
