new guy

Post by steve99f »

I've been doing a little research on some pocket knives that my wife and I have had for a while now. Interesting stuff and being from PA where there has been and is some production going makes it even better. We own a few Case knives, a couple of KaBars, a Colonial, two Kleins(found), one fixed blade Buck (skinner pattern) and a 110, a Rocky Menefee hunting knife, A BHK patch knife.

This is a recent obsession somewhat related to old guns obsession but slightly less expensive, I think. I'm mostly interested in traditional folding pocket knives but have nothing against fixed blade knives, have a couple of them too.

Things I like in a knife: swedge.

Seems like a great site with calm, knowledgeable members. I look forward to learning and participating. I take crappy pictures so be fore warned.

Welcome to AAPK. Glad to have you aboard. I never thought of this forum as being "calm" but you're correct. There's seldom any drama here and that's what drew me to the site.
