Dating a Kabar folder
I have a Kabar folder that resembles an 1184 or 1185, the stamping is Kabar with a star. Can anyone date and give me some info on the model?

I'm not familiar with Kabar patterns, but the stamp you described was used between 1962 and 1964. The star indicates that the blade is stainless steel.
