Schrade Walden question

Post by MountainMan »

Another beautiful knife on eBay that is advertised as Schrade/Walden, however, the stamp is different than what I've seen before (which in reality isn't a whole lot) and it is on the back side of the blade and not the front. Here is the link and pictures.

Looks like Schrade Walden to me. A lot like the Buck 301's that Schrade made. I wonder if this is where James Parker got the inspiration for his eagle Brand logo. As a matter of fact I wonder if this is a Parker? Never seen a Schrade with this stamp or etching.

The words vintage and antique are vague. Actually most words are vague. Even the word vague is vague.

It was done for Parker in 1974-1976 as part of the Eagle series, The Librty or Death set . Like was already said they are 5 different models. Schrade did a 2 knife set for Parker in the same year's that was a whittler cased set of 2.
All are great looking knives.
