Does anyone here have one of these?
I was curious to see if anyone here has one of the Northwoods Scagel, 2 bladed, with Sanbar stag knives. Here is a link to it: http://www.vintageknives.com/tek9.asp?p ... =jmpriojrm
What do you think of it? Do you like it. I have been droooooooling over this baby for awhile now.

I don't but it is on my very short list. I'm currently waiting for the Queen Mountain Man Lockbacks in sambar stag and 1095 steel to arrive at Cumberland Knifeworks. That's first on the list since I already have one reserved. The Northwoods Scagel repro is right after that.
Like you, I've been having saliva management issues over that knife. I'll probably have to buy a special bib once I do get it.
I still can't decide what to do with it when I get it, i.e. put it in a drawer or on display and just take it out to wipe it with a diaper every now and then, or buy a really nice custom sheath for it and use it as an EDC. I can't make up my mind whether it's too pretty to use or too pretty to not use.

Did you get the two blade with steel bolster, or the one blade with no bolster?
Congrats on the new knife! That's an heirloom quality piece you have there.
