CASE TESTED 3165 Flat Blade Hunter. Flat blades were more scarce than the SAB model. The SAB books for 900 bucks while the flat blade model books for 1200 bucks. This is a scarce "Thin Hunter" model on top of that.

This knife was only made in the TESTED era. So in my opinion a rare CASE knife!

The handle on this knife are are very nice yellow. No chips or cracks but VERY slight shrinkage as expected.

Looks to have been lighty cleaned but not buffed to death. Probably gentle used and light sharpened but full blade, with smooth action and killer snap. Fit is tight. I imagine hard to find in this shape as it is certainly not used up and in great shape for it's age.

Hard to find knife.

Books for $1200 plus. So $700 plus shipping and you own a fine knife. Sorry can't do better than that based on what it cost me.

Been offering up some rare CASE TESTED knives lately, no sales. That is OK, no big thing. Price is fair in my opinion but not cheap as far as total dollars. Fair for what is offered though depending on opinion. I did not get this one nor are you likely to find this knife in similar condition on ebay for $34.99.

Nothing to hide on the pile side, just like the mark side, just don't have a pic of it yet. Will provide more details and pics if someone is truly interested.
