You have definitely scored some pretty sweet looking wood lately, the Che Chen has some nice looking a swirls in it & that king wood has some nice lines. ::tu:: ::smirk:: well I guess you wouldn't really call them swirls, but their not really lines either. ::hmm:: let's just say the Che Chen looks very "Che Chenish". ::shrug:: ::dang::

well,since they are talking about a ""new release"" @ GEC, for the #72's & #73's ------ I am still very fond of the ones,already out there ::hmm:: ___so,I went shopping at ""Gunstock Jack's Knives and Collectibles""____2010 #72 Stag,2011 #72 American Elk, & 2011 #73 Cocobolo Wood*** :)___________________________now,I won't have to stand in line,for the ""new releases""____ ::ds::

Nice ones monk! I almost picked up that cocobolo for an EDC but since I already have one and sold the other, I figure ill just wait and see what GEC puts out with the new batch. Quite the haul ya got there. ::tu:: :mrgreen:

I scored this one recently... Pretty lucky find, turns out after some looking through the production totals
It's an orphan... ::ds:: made in 2012 with 2008 parts. 734208 in ebony wood 1 of only 6 made unserialized. ::tu:: ::sneaky::

They already have !!!!!____________same time they made the one above*** ::hmm:: some more "'Orphan Knives"" made 15pcs. in 2012,with 2010/2011 blades :)

They also made a regular production run of 2012 knives 735212EC__Ebony Wood,25pcs.serialized & 24 pcs. non-serialized__good luck,Monk ::tu::

::nod:: I do like that liner lock end capped in ebony and am pleased to own one, but what I was actually hoping GEC would make is 2-blade 73 jack with endcaps and a pen blade up front. ::nod::

I modified mine by "dropping" the point of the spey blade; a guy could take a little off the belly too, if he wanted to make it pointier.
