Nice Hammer Brand Serpentine Auto

This one just arrived today. All my other Hammer Brand autos are toothpicks. I have been wanting a serpentine for quite a while. I got it from a fellow forum member.

Nice auto James, I have one similar that Muskratman cleaned up for me. It has different handles but everything else is close. Do you have a definate date on yours? I always thought mine was of the 30's-40's vintage. Kelley

Edit: After looking at yours again, I realize mine is a toothpick and not a serpentine.

Gunsmoke, according to the tang stamp mine was made between 1945 and 1955. It works like a brand new one.

Gunsmoke if you go to page 7 and find the 'Celluloid Handles' thread, I posted several pics of Hammer and Imperial toothpicks.
