Case XX Safari and Titusville, PA Limited Edition 1985

Post by wirenut »

Anybody have any info or know the value of these sets? They are mint condition. They are Safari and Oil in America sets. Both have never been used. I am fairly new to collecting Case knives and can't find much on these knives. Any info would be great.

you should post pics or a link to a site that has more information…How limited of an edition is it? 1 of 500 or 5,000? someone with high dollar books and plenty of Case XX knowledge will come along and help you… I guess I'll welcome you….. Hey Wirenut, Welcome to AAPK ….. ::groove::

They are in a set of 500. I'm new so hopefully what I changed will help get me some info. These knives were given to me and I'd like to know what I have now.

I think a lot of folks call those knives Bird & Fish knives or Pheasant and Trout knives. They are nice looking knives you have there, pretty stag on them. I have no clue as to their value though but you could check Ebay's completed auctions and see what the average price is that they have sold for. Maybe someone like Steve or Bob will come along and give you way more information about your knives than I ever could. Those two gentlemen know their stuff about Case and Queen knives, and many other brands of knives as well. I'm hoping this was of some help to you. You could also try posting your questions about these knives in the Case threads section here on AAPK. You may get an answer much quicker there.
BTW, ::welcome:: to AAPK. You can learn a lot here and also help some good people by answering a question or two with the knife knowledge you have. I don't think you'll find a nicer bunch of people on any other knife web site than the good people here on AAPK. Please stick around with us, take your shoes off, set back and enjoy yourself here.

Thanks for the input. I wish one of those guys would come along cause I can't find any site anywhere that even has info on them. Maybe I'm not doing something wrong but to me there should be some page with info or value.
