Rick, that Entrek looks like it would be a real worker in the field. It ain't hard on the eye either! ::tu:: :mrgreen:

Ken, All I can say is WOW!!! :shock: That's a fine herd of Schrades you've rounded up!!! ::tu:: ::tu:: I collect Schrade USA too. Now I'm starting to see why some of the patterns I'm looking for are so hard to find, they've immigrated to Australia!! ::rotflol::

Hi Charlie from Australia, ::handshake::
There is some big Schrade collectors in Australia, the Old Timers have always sold well over here.
I have been using the same old 881 since 1973.
What knives are you looking for? Have a look at AAPN's Gallery; from time to time I try to put some of my knives in there...Ken

Once again, Ken......WOW! :shock: Another nice bunch of Schrades!!! ::tu:: ::tu:: :mrgreen:

I'm fond of the Sharpfinger, Pro Hunter, & Woodsman patterns. I also collect Schrade folding knives. However, the center of my collection is the canoe pattern with Case canoes being the top of the order. ::nod::

Thanks for the info, Schrade USA has become a highly collectable tang stamp since they closed their doors. Makes me wish I had kept some of the numerous Schrades I've carried through the years in mint condition.

Here's one you might find interesting. Bear MGC stepped up and filled the USA made Sharpfinger void left by Schrade. It's a well made copy. As they say, imitation is the sincerest for of flattery....

Ken, my friend, that is one real fine collection of Schrades you have. I don't restrict myself to one maker although I'm primarily a Case collector. I have canoes from many different cutlers. I restricted myself mostly by pattern. So many of the knives I have that aren't canoes are ones I've carried. I've used and liked Schrade knives for many years and have a few in my knife room. Now I'm trying to get some of my old favorites in mint condition before they get any harder to find.

Sweet knives. ::drool::

I just picked up a Remington RH 43 with matching sheath. One with the inked or engraved pattern numbers, guess this is gutta percha rubber handle material. Pretty good condition, if it was used it wasn't used much.

I've had this one a while but I'm not sure if I posted a pic yet or not. The condition is mint with 100% of the blueing still intact.

Nice pair there Cutty.
Have you put that BK7 to the test yet?
I've read some reviews that rate it quite highly as a wilderness/survival knife...

This Becker was made by Camillus.The only difference I am aware of is that it does not have the protuding pommel of later renderings. It has a very strong following as a camp knife.

Yes, as a camp knife it's fine but is-for me-excessively heavy as a trail or hiking knife. For hiking I prefer something relatively light such as the CS Bush Ranger which has served me well.
