johnnie,

1. Not a bad looking knife
2. Some real old EASTERN's listed in Goins' book
3. Got a bad feeling about the stamp, as far as legit and all

Goins list an Eastern Cutlery Company 1875-1900. I don't know if tooth-picks were made that far back. The knife doesn't look that old. The stamp looks 'dodgy' in my opinion. Do not take this as expert advice. Just my 2p. :) s-k

El Lobo beat me to the post.... I concur.

Hey johnnie,

In the last Goins, it is on page 85...Eastern Cutlery Co (among a couple of other possibilities).

One of the first knives I bought off of eBay was from this seller. His picture was not that good and his description was inacurate of his knife. I was really inexperienced and got stuck for $200.00 for a knife that was worth $50-60. I won't buy from him again. If you read his satisfaction guarantee, he says he'll refund your money, and then further down it says all sales are final. ::td:: ::td:: ::td::
