I was fortunate enough to get double bombed this past weekend!! ::groove::

First off we have a FINE fixed blade, made by Red River Knives, which is/was a division of Cold Steel...the etch is really hard to read but it says "Red River Knives a divison of Cold Steel" Carbon V Made in USA
These are no longer in production, but they were issued in the early 90's as "reproductions of old fur trapper era patterns" and werere modeled after the Russell Harrington patterns long established in their Green River patterns.
This particluar gem is known as the "Elk Skinner"
Nice heavy duty hickory handled fixed blade that will definitely see some woods-time with me this summer and fall!
The bomber on this one wishes to remain anonymous, so we will refer to him as "The Anon-o-Bomber"! Thank you my friend!.. (There was also another inclusion in that package, but I won't post it here because I think it will reveal the Anon-o-bombers true indentity  )

Also arriving this weekend was a package from Josh aka Junebug containing this very cool Vic with a tiny little eyeglass screwdriver that threads onto the corkscrew...and a nice old Hammer jack that cleaned up nicely and now has a razor hair poppin' edge on both blades! Also contained in the package but not pictured was a Dexter chef knife/ cheese knife...how appropriate for a Wisconsin bombing destination! ::tu::
Thanks Josh, you da man!

This one right here made it to me today at lunch.

Here is a fine example of poor photography of nothing but the finest Robeson Shuredge HOKedness.
She is a beauty with great, classy, black scales that ate tight as new with "ZERO" shrinkage and good snap all around and dates back to 1940-1964. She is already sharpened up and and displaced the #66 at this very moment.

Thanks Josh, I appreciate it greatly. You ticked several boxes with this one. ::nod::

Hello fellow bombers :) I recently got hit by a Californian Ho Bomb
I don't have a pic but I now have me my own lil Ho Book
Thanks Josh and your quite welcome for the goody box. I actually only had about 4 items going into it the Lipic, holly sugar bag, Magnum sow, steel Warrior Razor and tater head bottle opener okay 5 things ... The rest was added for Shrapnel purposes only ::super_happy::
Thanks again Juniperberries ::tu::

Well, the long range accuracy is pretty astounding on this one, coming in all the way from Florida to Wisconsin and scoring a direct hit! The mad bomber himself, Scott caught me totally off guard with this cluster bomb, and it's a good one!
An altoids tin set up as a little survival firestarter kit, complete with fatwood sticks and lint for tinder, this awesome paracord laynard with a fero rod hidden inside, and this over the top cool old Schrade Walden 176 that's been rehandled in mesquite wood!

My daughter and I put it to the test on our back porch last night during a storm, and that fatwood fired right up and burned a good long time, excellent stuff, Scott thank you very much, it will all be put to good use!

Way to go Scott. You pounded that young Devil Dog GOOD!

Be careful out there in the woods Mike. I don't know about Cheese Head Land but it's a bumper crop of ticks this year down here south of the border and we're not that far apart. (serious warning)

Yeah Jerry, you ain't kiddin' about the ticks this year, they are a force to be reckoned with indeed. Found one on the back of my daughter's ear, one on my son's head, a couple under my armpits, one on my wife's neck..... I went out unprotected last week on an "off the trail" bush hike and picked off twelve of them....damn things are tenacious. Since then I've been out twice, once with the family, and we doused ourselves liberally in Deep Woods Off and stayed on the main trails and came out of it tick free....so hopefully the worst of the tick season is behind us. May and early June are usually the worst. Litte ba%#ards!

I got bombed real good yesterday.
I got a package from Keith (Ozzie Marie) with 2 sheaths I had ordered from his store.
Inside one sheath was an old (and admittedly used hard) knife.
Both blades are short, the pen blade is a nub. The bone handles had been replaced with wood, however the frame is in great shape; but it was exactly what I needed for a new build I am going to do for a customer in Australia when I start doing custom orders again in August.

Inside this sheath was an Old Timer, a 2OT!!!! ::ds:: ::ds:: ::ds::
Thanks Keith!!!!

I will try & get pics up tomorrow if it doesn't rain again.

Just went out to bring in the mail and was bombed by the Junebug! A small package that I wasn't expecting was laying in the mailbox, when opened it contained the perfect SAK - just the right two blades! Thank you Josh, very nice and very unexpected. Bruce

Ever notice Josh's ordinance tends to be Swiss made. I thought those folks were neutral.

Well you guys can see that I chose to illustrate the "Swiss-bomb" using a soft delivery system! Thanks again Josh, very cool on your part! OH
