I love both of those red trappers! However, I'm trying out this CRKT Carson m4-02 for a few days. It's amazingly SHARP!

Afta sitting on the turkey stand for seven hours I pocketed a Schrade 804 and a Colonial Barlow,man the blades on these two set flush.

Dogg, good luck with those gobblers - season has been out here for three weeks. Carried this Kabar 1005 Barehead jack today; Delrin handles as made by Camillus. OH

Dogg, that Schrade 804 looks like a quality knife. Going to carry this 4" Kabar 1108 today, need a little more knife than the 3" 1005. Dave, those Imperials usually sharpen up pretty readily and hold a nice edge - what's up? OH

Ken, I like that CRKT a lot....is it a liner-lock? Great blade profile on it, and I find that their knives are well built.

Yes, it's an assisted opener and liner-lock. It was kind of stiff at first but opens comfortably now.

This one came yesterday from Paladan at Sweetwater; the main blade appeared to have never been used (or sharpened). Got her shaving hair now, oiled the joints and gained some main blade snap, and slipped it into my pocket - cool old BSA knife from the early 1960's. OH
