If you use the numbering system from scoutknives.net I think you would be correct. I just took note of the lack of a BSA number in the listing shown for that knife in Official Scout Blades on page 18.
By the way, I also noticed on the scout knives website they do not have a photo of one of that model, so here's your chance to get one on there.

I was expecting two packages today, not three. The third was from 313Mike and in it was a newspaper article about the recovery of the remains of a Viet Nam Marine. Mike said the enclosed Imperial 858DE was just a bonus since he didn't want to send the article all by it's lonesome. The knife has been carried but never sharpened and is really pretty darned nice. Mike, you're awfully thoughtful for a Jarhead. Thank you young Devil Dog. I appreciate the article and the knife.

I promised to tell you the story behind the seal on the clip; which I also have on a matching Zippo Lighter. They were given to me by business acquaintances that really became friends over the years. It is the crest for Phillips & King Distributors. Phillips & King was a cigar, cigarette & tobacco distributor in the City Of Industry, CA. The company is still in business but I think it changed hands in the 1990s and is no longer owned by my friends, Jerry & Linda.

Linda’s father had started the company many years before and at some point the company had also purchased National Cigar Co. In the late 1980s they celebrated the 50th anniversary of Phillips & King. At that time they were the biggest cigar & tobacco wholesalers on the West Coast. They were also a Zippo distributor, so they gave away some Zippo ad lighters & accessories to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

And now you have the rest of the story……….
