Mule Day knife - what's it worth?

Post by mawd1949 »

This is a 1979 3 blade stockman Mule Day knife from the annual celebration in Columbia, TN. This might be the first year they were issued. It is made by Old Cutler. Any value estimates would be greatly appreciated.

Old Cutler is a Colonial Knife Company brand. It looks like a nice knife, and having the box is always a plus. I don't think you're going to find an accurate "Book" on this knife, and today, putting the knife on eBay, or taking it to a show and asking for offers, is probably the best way to value it.

It might be listed in Bruce Voyle's book, but I don't have that book. A couple other folks here do have it, so maybe they'll chime in with more informatiom.

Mule Day Knife

This isn't my knife. I am considering purchasing it and would like a ball park figure of its value. Thanks.

Old Cutler is a lower priced knife. Being in the box helps as does being a commerative. Personally I wouldn't go over $25 or $30.
