It is a very nice knife. If only it had a swedged spear blade instead of the clip, it would be purrr-fect.

I posted the picture on Flickr and someone asked what material the handles were made of.

Does anyone know for sure?

Junebug- Yes there are a number of different tang stampings. Most common is Premier inside an oval and knife model underneath. Country of origin stamp on reverse tang. Also of course is the shield which is the coin silver Premier Lifetime sometimes backgrounded in red. Premier contracted from quite a few different countries and will be marked as such; Germany, England,Japan, Italy and I have a knife marked British sector which is occupied Germany. Here is a pic of a folding hunter Japan

I found this small one at a flea market this week-end and picked it up because all my other Premier's are from Germany...this one is from Japan. Doesn't seem to be the same quality as the German ones that's for sure.

Hey guys ::ds:: I just picked up another Premier Lifetime. Fixed blade hunting bowie. Don't have the original sheath so looking for info as to what it looked like. Has ORIGINAL BUFFALO SKINNER etch. Dates around the 1950s.

I found these two Premier Lifetimes last week-end. The first one has definitely seen better days but I took one for the team to add it to the Premier Club. It's either pattern # K25 or K75, single broken blade, wood scales. The second one is a pearl beauty in great shape with fantastic snap, and it's the first Premier I have that is made in Sheffield England. cheers
