what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

With all you beautiful people, I kinda hate to spoil it with my mug. But, here I am after a day of doing one of the things I like best. Not the best quality pic, but...

 Well thank you Trev, ol' buddy! But, nobody's out to catch me, even when i'm running backwards toward 'em! ::smirk::
You on the other hand, were such a handsome feller, the good Lord saw fit to make two of ya!! ::tu::
As far as the fish go, it WAS a great day on the lake! Crappie were hitting anything you could throw at 'em. This is only half the haul, there's another stringer full on the ground in front of me! ::nod::

Lookin' good there Dave, Rick, Monk, WB !

This is me out playing in the marsh last week...temps were only in the low 40's at the time, we've since warmed up into the 60's and the marsh is filled with ducks, sandhill cranes, geese etc....nothing much moving that day though 'cept me!

Let's get some of other crusty ol' coots to post up your pics too! It's nice to put a face to a name... ::tu::

What is it with AAPK and fishing? It seems we have an inordinate number of fishermen on here. Is it an age thing?

Nice striper Mike ::tu::

I just went striper and hybrid fishing Friday.

I don't know Jerry. Maybe guys who carry a knife daily and or own several and are into knives in general are more apt to be outdoorsmen ::shrug:: Most guys I know that have no interest in knives and don't necessarily even carry one are also not into the outdoors as far as hunting and fishing but to tell you the truth I don't know many guys like that around here in my neck of the woods ::shrug::

It's probably just an age thing though ::tu::
Which either makes me older or ahead of my time, hopefully the latter :)

Yes sir Dale, striped bass, AKA, rock fish from the Chesapeake Bay a couple days ago.

Jerry, when I was growing up you either had to work on the water or cut grass. We all had Buck 110's on our hip or a oyster shucker in our back pocket. It just grew from there. But I think it's cool that AAPK and fishin goes together like peanut butter and jelly!

We did pretty well Mike.
Most were in the 5 to 7lb range with one striper weighing about 12lbs but the lake holds 30 plus pound stripers and hybrids up to 12lbs or so.
I was fishing in a local freshwater lake where striper and hybrids were introduced many years ago.

I fished when I was a kid but it was just farm ponds, a bobber, worms and a cane pole. When I got to be a big kid, that was all I knew 'cause there was no one in my family to teach me anything else (except trot lines and funnel nets). It's not much fun when you don't know what you're doing and don't catch anything.
