"odd" Teardrop jack on ebay

I found an odd little knife on ebay..Tang stamped Sargent made in Japan.
Its not my cup of tea but thought it might be of interest to someone here on the forum..ebay #230140584880

Those scales look pretty good. Kinda reminds me of Remingtons split pearl, which had a band of nickel silver in the middle.

At first glance,I thought it was a Sheffield or a German made knife!! Too bad it wasn't!!
