H. Boker Display Knife
This knife recently sold for a lot of money on Ebay.
I saved the pics from the auction and thought I'd post them here for posterity.
Eye candy.
Enjoy. Pics should expand with a left click.

Wow! This is a Jaw Dropper... How much is a lot of money? Just curious, I don't think this one auction will set the value for the 10,000-20,000 other knives like this that were produced in this run... J/K
It' does make you wonder how many they made though...
By the way, Thank you Mr. Noyes Sir. for posting. I'm wondering how this knife got past me since I have Boker knives and Antique knives etc. on my look out in ebay... I should have received an email... I'm guessing it was sold at auction in another country?

That's the only one like it I have ever seen, including old pictures. Thanks for saving & posting the pictures.
A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).

Is this an 1869-1880 German H Boker Roger?

Lyle: The info. I have (Mark Zalesky's Knifeworld article) on that particular tang stamp dates it at 1867 - 1880. It was made in Germany.

Re: H. Boker Display Knife
That is one beautiful knife! But if I were going to spend 2200+ dollars on a knife I would CERTAINLY not want someone opening all those blades at once like it is shown. That is just inviting "Back Spring Breakage" of the first magnitude.

It amazed me to see the grind marks on the blades.

As a lifelong vintage knife collector, this example is what I, as well as many others, live to find and acquire.
