Re: Case help
I think that is as close a guess as I would be able to make; 3-1/4", swell end w/ bolster, clip main, pen secondary. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

I believe that not having a model number stamp would put your knife as being made from 1945 (or so) to around the late 50's. Nice family heirloom!

Re: Case help
According to the length (3-1/4") , I would say that it is a 6235-1/2 , but since it appears to have a "tested" shield , I would "guesstimate" that it was made in the early 1940's .
