Huh!! Learn something everyday.... Turns out my 2006 GEC #23 with lasered handles is one of the 25 pc. "friends and family" run. I seen a few old posts and remembered that they had 2 of the etched handle knives in the set but couldn't remember why. I wondered what the 1-25 etch was about on the blade, I knew they made 81 pcs in the regular. So, I went to diggin' and found out why. Thanks guys!!!

That Boys Knife sure has been a big hit. Who would have thought something so simple would have gone over so well? Thank you GEC.

I'm familiar with the situation, Mike. Sometimes you reach in your pocket and there's not even enough pocket lint there for a cup of coffee. :(

The GEC 15 pattern has been extremely popular, and rightly so. The knife is a classic, is well made, and sells at a very fair price. Here's a couple photos of a pattern that is becoming everyone's fav.

And there are a very few of the TC Sawyer Barlows left, but you have to know where to look: ::hmm::

Jspurlock93,

Both Nice! I am familiar with the first one with the tang stamping as " Red Neck" but what does the tang say on the Black one? I did notice the birds Eye rivet with Red Neck......?

IM that Lumber jack will certainly take care of business for ya, watch you fingers.

Earl, I must say that is the nicest blue I seen in a long time on your #81.

I haven't bought much lately, but I did get a bonus last week and it burned a hole in my pocket before it even reached my account ::facepalm:: Not a lot of sunfish anymore, they are not that popular. Only to myself an a few other folks. Perhaps that's a good thing ::smirk:: BH

Thanks Trev.

Good size knife, and with both blades ride'n a single spring combined with the Acrylic material make it very thin........a smooooth pocket carry. (aside from the high tangs when closed but I don't see that ever changing at GEC)
