11 1/2 Collectors?

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

11 1/2 Collectors?

Post by npeters3 »

I really enjoy Case swing guard knives, so I thought that I would post my 6111 1/2 Tested Green Bone with Bomb Shield.

Any other 11 1/2 Collectors out there?

npeters3,
That's a fine lookin' Case you have posted! If you check on the 2nd page of the Case Knife Collector's Forum there are several more posted. I only have 2 , one old wore out gal, missing the swing guard and a NIB stag handled "safe queen". A question in the earlier post delt with the original use for this knife pattern. Have you any ideas? Treefarmer

That knife is awesome, I hope you get a bidding war over it. Like you say in the description, this knife pattern from tested era, in this condition, is not something you find very often. Good luck.
