Ka-Bar Olean NY.

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

jamfish,
nice old knife. ............. (older than mine)
It would be nice to see your stamp. KA-BAR OLEAN N.Y. dates 1923 - 1950

Mine is Kabar without caps and the hyphen. Much earlier stamp.
Like you, I like every thing about this knife.

EDIT: I double clicked (finally) on your picture and did see your stamp.
