Case Knife Identification

Hello,
I am hoping someone can tell me when these knives were made.
I would also like to know what the handle of the second one is made of and how to clean it up.
Any information would be appreciated,

Hey there Nikki,

That's an old Case Tested coke bottle . . . could be a C91050SAB . . . that's a rare bird with a french pearl handle.

Don't really know though. suppose it could be cracked ice . . . although I don't see an SAB with a cracked ice handle in my guide here.

Anyway, what a sweet old blade. Very nice. I think that knife will clean up quite well. I'm sure MM will guide you down the right path.

Looks like the 1920-40 Case Tested stamp (anyone else?)

As for the knife/hatchet combo, with the original box no less. That set is GOLD. Looks in slightly used but overall excellent++ condition. The two implements together are rare enough, but with the box, it's a collector's dream. I for one would be absolutely in the (honest and fair price) market myself. I would suggest getting one of the Case knife value guides. It will tell you how to ascertain the date of Mfr. and the approximate value too. However, doing a search on ebay of perhaps "Case hatchet and knife set" or Case and then the model number, it will give you at least a taste of what the market will bear for such a piece.

Thank you for the information, the knife hatchet combo does have a couple cratches but a lot of what you see is my fingerprints

I am not sure but I think so, it fits in there perfectly. The leather is well worn and is very soft, not like the other holster that is very stiff.
I found it in a box with a lot of old fishing gear.
