Gentlemen,

As most of you know, when a really nice example of a knife comes along and when it is in your area of collecting wants, one needs to prioritize his needs and evaluate the situation.

Not long ago I posted about a Tidioute elephant toenail that I would have LOVED to own. I figured that it would go for $1000 +. It didn't make it to that amount and I regret very much that I didn't opt to try and buy it. I would have had to sell some other things, but a rare example of a super old knife is a great thing to me.

I suggest you look at all the options and figure out just how important this addition might be. Rare name, rare pattern in GREAT shape. It shouldn't take you long to decide.

When I posted about that Tidioute knife. several kind members contacted me and actually offered to help me out. That was so nice of them and I truly appreciated the offer. But I am not one to fret over the loss of a knife, "although you can still tell that I wished I owned it" They made more than one and SOME DAY I will own one. But if I had it to do over, I would have tried to buy it.

Think hard, come up with a way. As long as it doesn't take away from family, friends and life, it is worth having. Even one rare knife is considered a collection. Two rare knives is a passion.
