Picked the bottom knife up at the Ohio Gun Collectors show this past Saturday. I noticed the knife in with some others, and asked if I could see it, the guy said "its kinda beat up, do you still want me to dig it out" - I said yes, he got it and then waited on another customer. I said I would give him $5 for it - couldn't see the tang mark due to the light. He asked "what are you going to do with it" - I said I wasn't sure - try and read it. So he said OK. Brought it home and sure enough it was a 4 liner. I cleaned some rust off and oiled it and sharpened it and will use it for an EDC.

If it could talk - I'd ask it where its been, who carried it, what was it used for, and then I would tell it, don't worry, from now on you will be well cared for and well oiled.

Wonder when it was made - WWII era for sure.

.....ken, are both blades 4 line stamped??.if it is, it's 1919-1941,if only the master is staamped, it's 1941-1946-like you, i often wish they could talk,too.............. ................

Carmillus, Thanks for the info, it looks like there is some words on the small blade as well, I don't think there are 4 lines on that but maybe, hard to read. Also Camillus has no underline at all on the main blade. Thanks again, if that knife could talk, Ken

........ken, sounds like you've got an early 4 line, i've got several like that where the stamp is just about unreadable on one blade or the other....also, "camillus" was never underlined on the 4 liners......... ................
