Especially after a long seige of bad weather followed by a Sunny Sunday afternoon.
Caught these yesterday about five blocks from home using that venue for my local area.

I agree on the Craigslist tip..........replied to an ad (even here in the middle of nowhere, lol) for a single Kabar and ended
up buying a collection of 52 Mint Kabars in thier original boxes. Like deer, knives are where you find them.

Re: Don't Neglect Craigs List
Thanks to all.
Phil it is A forward caret or 1987 118> personal. The sheath is drawer worn the knife is as usual, the manufacturer edge has been used up and without knowledge of sharpening it went into storage.
The Case is in my opinion, although Case is a wonderful collectors venue it is just that a collectors piece that someone purchased probably for a gift and the recipient said oh, thats nice and laid it aside. Does anyone have an idea of it's manf. Date.

I agree Dale they make nice wall hangers and very little else.I have one in my Case drawer with an image of Davey Crockett(I think)etched into the blade.I don't know what year it is but I've owned that one for about 25 years. I think the first time you used it you would knock the brass "blade catcher" right off.Feels a little clumsy in the hand as well.Mossdancer wrote: The Case is in my opinion, although Case is a wonderful collectors venue it is just that a collectors piece that someone purchased probably for a gift and the recipient said oh, thats nice and laid it aside.
