CASE TESTED 22028-1/2 Serpentine Dog Leg

Post by zp4ja »

Up for sale! Hard to find!

CASE TESTED 22028-1/2. 3-1/2" closed Kinife is really CLEAN!!! Inside and out! Absolutely no indication that the knife has been apart either. I will not so far as to say it was a "Sock Drawer" knife. All I can say it is near mint for any era knife, let alone a TESTED era. Based on my research, this knife was first made in TESTED era, which this knife is. Discontinued in XX era.

Never said this before on a knife, but I do not think you will find a better example of this knife. Near mint, as I said. No used, uncarried and not sharpened. Action is firm and smooth but not overly tight. Very audible snap on open and close, both blades. Pins and liners are all nickel silver. No handle cracks or chips.

I personally do not embellish my knife description to sell a knive, as I don't HAVE to sell it. That being said, I personally do not think this knife has ever seen a buffer or professional cleaning. Take a good look at the shoulder on both blades, pile and mark side. The shoulder is crisp and not worn which would be indicative of seeing a buffer. The stamp is crisp and clear and not pitted or smeared.

This is a rare offering/chance at this knife in my book! Please do a Google search and see what you find. I will provide additional pics if someone is seriously interested in the knife.

$325 plus shipping.

Regards, Jerry

Yes Sir Dimitri, probably not the best choice of words! Allow me to rephrase, "in my opinion, based on my research".

Thanks! She is a sweet old knife.

Not sold but pulled and not for sale. Thanks for looking. Not lowering the price on this knife. Not too many out there.
