Brous Blades Fixed Blade
Received my fixed blade knife yesterday from Jason Brous and all I can say is I'm very impressed. Blade steel is D2 and it has an acid washed finish which I prefer to satin finish or black. It is a heavier knife and with the aggresive saw blade on the spine looks like it could saw through an engine block. The blade length is 6 1/2" and the handle is made of G-10. Ever since I sold my Buckmaster 184 I've wanted a large fixed blade with a similar aggresive saw blade on the spine and this fits the bill perfectly. Features jimping along the spine near the grips and measures 1/4" thick. The finger grips really fit the hand well and provides for a solid grip that would allow the use even while wearing gloves.

Brous seems to have a penchant for using the chainsaw look on a lot of his fixed blades. He used to post here on AAPK pretty often but I haven't seen him do so recently. He sure has a distinctive style.

I don't know the weight on this, but it sure feels like it could, saw, hack or cut through anything.

Took some better pictures of this knife and thought I'd share them as well.
