knife fix

Post by centex »

Hello, New member here,
I have a small Ka-Bar pen knife that one blade won't close all the way. If I file a small amount off of the kick on that blade will I solve that. I don't want to screw it up but it looks like that would work. Later I will try to post a picture and see if it can be identified.
Thanks in advance, Jim.

Has the blade been sharpened a lot? Is the blade well clean?

Yes to both questions Mr. Murphy. There is a some rust in the well but not much. What is the BBcode when you post a questions? Now I will try to post pictures and a description on the Ka-Bar forum for help in identifying the model name. Thanks for the reply Muskrat Man.
