I probably won't be able to attend that show, but I should be at the show in Pigeon Forge Tn. in the fall.

Hi RC,

I saw in KW where they changed the location for Parker's show, if that is the one you are talking about. I believe it is going to be held in Sevierville, this year.

They did not have it this Spring, or at least I never heard or read about it if they did.

I am planning on attending the Knoxville show but will not be set up. The Parker show was cancellend in June and I understand it will be at a new location this fall. It is one of the best shows so I hope it goes as planned. ::tu:: I enjoy any of the NKCA shows. :)

I'm gonna fly up to Knoxville to visit with buddies and hand out fliers for the election. I won't be setting up though.

The fall Parker Show will be at the new convention center in Sevierville. It's a much nicer location and closer to the interstate as well. Not to mention you won't have to stay in that rat hole of a hotel. Don't know if ya'll know this or not but, the table holders at the show had to stay at the Grand Hotel or pay an extra 20.00 per table. That's another reason why they moved the show.

Do you know the location and times of the show. I'll try and make it there if I don't have to work.

My understanding it is being held with the firearms show that week-end also, but have not seen any billboards up yet.
Here is a link for a dollar off coupon to use or hand out there.

Nobody has had a knife show here I guess since Jim Parker used to have one at The Hyatt/Hilton? Before that it was The Blade Show and that was 1989. I enjoy Parker's show also and really missed it this year.

I hate that traffic through PF & Gatlinburg though   , it is like that 24/7/365  ! We only go that way unless it is business related anymore.

Last time we spend the night up there some ding-dong had a meth lab set up in the same hotel we were staying in and we had to evacuate. :x It was at the Family Inn ::td:: directly across from The Grand/Parker's show.

Just head or look for The Knoxville Zoo, the show is held right next to it. If you are coming in off of I-40, I-81, I-75, I-275 look for the Rutledge Pike exit and follow signs for the Zoo. There will be billboards up also.

9-Ball,

Don't quite know if my work schedule will permit it or not (at this time) but I will do my best to be in attendance.

Later,
