So I'll be hanging out mostly in Q & A.

My interest in knives is historical, cultural, scientific, artistic, religious ... you name it. From flint to ceramic, from Abraham to AAPK, knives have shadowed mankind through history. To study knives is to study mankind.
My fascination started with the douk-douk and its history, politics, religion, geography, economics, metallurgy, design, sociology, all crammed into a little folder in the palm of the hand.
From there, my interest took on a life of its own, leading me most recently to AAPK's investigative reporting of the Great Eastern Cutlery experience and Tidioute.
With knives, you never know what's next.
