Very Nice Guys ::tu:: I do not think I even own a Northfield in Ebony other than a 36... must have been really low runs. The old wood handles hae something to say don't they?

He's a ebony sunfish from 2010. I think it's the only one I have. I always thought Gecs ebony was kinda brown looking? I prefer that dark jet black ebony. Like the 72 monk posted. ::tu:: ::tu::

Jay___ I agree, with ya' on the ""jet black"" ebony__ I have sometimes bought a Black Buffalo Horn scale knife, in a pattern I liked just to assure I got the ""Jet Black Coloration"" ::hmm:: ________ seems GEC uses two(2) different type Ebony Wood__ Gabon Ebony, from West Africa and Makassar Ebony from Indonesia____the Gabon tends to be the darker, with less streaks of brown**** ::hmm:: ___link below ::tu::

The ones i have already have pics of by others posted.
I asked repeatedly in the past for more ebony/northfield
combo knives, the gec guy doesnt like it, will do the tidioute
line, but unless it is an sfo... The huck knife is on my list
to get ( but i LIKE the nitebrite also....)

Hp you are fine, my frustration is i have a limited
budget, and wanted a ben hogan northfield in ebony,
with long pull only. Not available. As are other patterns.
As usual, your pics and collection are fantastic to view!!
Since my budget is small, i can be picky! I just buy what
I really want, quit buying what i kinda like.
