I think you guys are both way off base, though. Lovey Howell was the one who brought it ALL to the table!

This goes on daily in houses around the country and probably the world!

Cat: I want a treat. Give me a treat. Now.

Dog: Did somebody say treat?

Giver: " I'm busy. Wait."

Cat: No, I want a treat right now. Right now. Give me a treat.

Dog: Treat? Treat!

Giver: "In. A. Minute."

Cat: TREAT! You will not be allowed to do anything until I have a treat, and to make sure I will now put my butt in your face while you try vainly to read those construction plans. Butt. Butt. Look at my butty butt butt.

Dog: I thought there was going to be treats?

Giver: "For the love of ... just a damned minute."

Cat: Poke poke poke. TREAT! Here, I'll help by knocking the treat container off the table onto the floor. Bonk! There.

Dog: I've totally forgotten what we're doing.

Giver: "Argh! Will you two just, oh never mind, let me, just, argh, I CAN'T EVEN HEAR MYSELF THINK. Damnit! How did the stupid treat container get on the floor," BONK! Ow, "DAMN IT ANYWAY !"

Dog: What?

Giver: "I hit my head on the workbench picking up the stupid thing."

Cat: I hope your concussion doesn't interfere with the timely disbursing of treats.

Giver: "OK here's your stupid treat."

Cat: Now I don't want it.

Giver: "What The Hell!"

Cat: Nope. Changed my mind.

Dog: I'll take it! I'll take it!

Giver: "It's a cat treat."

Dog: I don't care if it's a cat TURD, I'll take it.

Giver: "Fine. Here."

Dog: THIS IS SO AWESOME! LICK. SMACK. CHEW CHEW CHEW. THIS IS THE BEST TREAT EVER! WOOHOO. GIVE US ANOTHER ONE!

Cat: Where's mine?

Good plan Gino, she is a beauty! Sometimes the dogs can tell good people(boys) from bad, when they have us fooled.
I used to have a big male Doberman that looked a lot like yours. He had the biggest "vocabulary"? of any dog I ever had. You could tell him what item to get, and he would find it and bring it. One time I was teasing him, and said "go get your bed" and it took a while, but he dragged it up 2 flights of stairs, pulling it backwards.

Brett, I believe that dogs do have that sense.

This is the 3rd one I have owned and he is by far the biggest and that story about the bed is hilarious and I could see it happening, lOL

These are our 3 Lhasa Apsos. They were on the recliner seat yesterday to see my wife off to work. She thought it would make a nice picture, so I grabbed the camera.

The one in the middle is Gus, with Josi on the left of the pic & Sami on the right.
Josi & Sami are sisters from the same litter, Gus is their sire.

I don't even want to think about having 7 Aussies running around for 8 weeks! I had two Aussies back visiting for a couple months and I'm still tired. I'd planned to breed one of my German shepherds this spring, but I've decided to wait and rest up. I think I'm getting old . . . .

Cute pups Chet! I remember when our litter was that small, but they didn't stay that way long!
The guy who has the mother of our pups wants to breed her again when she comes back in season. We will probably get a pup from that litter as well.

Nice looking dog knifetime, is he a pitbull?

Gino, that Dobie of yours just keeps getting better looking all the time! ::tu::
With daughters as pretty as yours I can see why you have a Dobie, work out & pack!
Your daughters must get their looks from their mom!  You have your work cut out for you my friend!
