Re: g.schrade knife
Your knife is a variation of a line of knives called the Handy Jack. There were 8 different patterns.
All had 3 1/4" blades. Clip points, sheepfoot, hawkbill, spear and spear with caplifter. Single and double blade. They also came with a small loop bead chain.
The knife you have is model #323. All stainless steel. The variation is the applied scales and bolsters.
They were manufactured in Bridgeport early to mid 50's. George Schrade was the founder of the George Schrade Knife Co., the Flylock Knife co., Schrade Cutlery Co., and the Press Button Knife Co. He also manufactured an automatic knife in Solingen Germany under his name prior to WWI.
He was my great grandfather.
