I'm not quite sure what to say about that. ::hmm:: I've made up a ton of Ethernet cables but never had call to introduce 115v into a network connection.

Going small today.

Image
schrade-5ot by Pinnah, on Flickr

Trying to up my game in firestarting. Went for a walk this am in 2 inches of new snow and a light drizzle. The 5OT stripped wet bark/outerwood quickly and worked up 3 nice feather-sticks in short order. Small blaze in short order with a touch of the Zippo.

Good memory as I sit in a horrible meeting in horrible conference room listening to a bit-head drone on. Only 2 more hours of this mind numbing, soul sucking crap. They don't pay me because it's fun.

naaaa, a 5OT isn't going small.
If it twas, what would a 3OT be, teensy?
I usually carry 3.25" SAK Cadet. Days that I
carry another a need for one of Cadet's implements
invariably arises usually before lunch.
Fortunately it fits well in most watch pockets
w/o blocking access to main right pocket.

Saturday night at the battalion reunion and Sunday morning at church I carried the nice, flat Buck 55, but on Monday morning it was back to a jackknife - a Case (very similar to yours Mike). OH

I agree, Case jack kanife makes for good carry.
Toted this 087 blackjack for 30yrs, working
smooth as glass when I sent it to a case forum
087 collector so he'd have one to tote.
Figured he had more time left to wear it
out than me. Prefer the older ones--more
rounded plus had the nail nick cutout.

Antique shop junque drawer find 63032cv filled
the 087's EDC#3 slot nicely. Somehow the jiggin'
fell off after I got it home. Whataya expect for $15?

I would say, itsy-bitsy.

When I go to spread butter on my toast or reach deep into the peanut butter jar (or better, the Nutella Jar - yum), the 5OT is small. When I go to cut up a chicken, it's unbearably small. When I cut up a feather stick, it feels small again. Possible, but small.

That Cadet is cute. I'm liking the metal scales. Agree on the need for those small tools. I get there by another path. Things are back to normal today...

I had no plans to add this easy opening Schatt & Morgan to my edc. But after a few days of carry it has earned a permanent spot in my rotation. Fits my hand unusually well and has very nice F&F. Plus spear point blades are a favorite of mine.

I have a Randall Made Knife on my belt at this time. Model #8, Trout & Bird. This is my everyday carry knife. I have a Model #1 in my war bag. Best knives I have ever used.
